Indigo Has Filed the Mumbai–dar Schedule.

1️⃣ INDIGO HAS FILED THE MUMBAI–DAR SCHEDULE. DAILY FROM 20 NOVEMBER — AND IT LANDS AT 06:05.

The intent was reported on 6 September (businessline). Overnight the schedule itself went in: 6E1851 Mumbai 02:20 → Dar 06:05; 6E1852 Dar 07:05 → Mumbai 15:55. Daily. A320neo. From 20 November 2026 (AeroRoutes filing, 09 Sep 2026 22:00 GMT). Dar becomes IndiGo's second destination in continental Africa.

Read the clock, not the route map. 06:05 lands before any standard check-in, 365 times a year. The 07:05 return means the outbound guest sleeps in Dar the night before.

🎯 So what: that is two bed-nights a day the timetable creates and most Dar properties currently give away. Build a priced, guaranteed 07:00 early check-in sold at booking — not begged for at the desk — and a pre-departure night with a 04:30 transfer. Zanzibar and northern-circuit operators: this is Indian leisure and MICE routing through Dar on a narrowbody daily instead of a Gulf hub. Redo the Nov–Mar India plan and contract with Indian agents before the seats go on sale.

2️⃣ THE EBOLA NUMBER YOUR AGENTS ARE QUOTING IS 40 DAYS OLD AND HALF THE REAL ONE.

WHO's last Disease Outbreak News on the DRC Bundibugyo outbreak is DON614, 1 August 2026: 3,605 confirmed cases, 1,587 deaths, as at 30 July. That is the figure still in circulation.

The DRC's own institute kept publishing. SitRep No. 116, 8 September 2026 (data to 7 Sep): 6,686 confirmed cases, 3,226 deaths, 82 new cases on 6–7 Sep alone — Ituri 39, North Kivu 39, Haut-Uélé 4 — 819 in isolation (INSP RDC). That is 3,081 more cases than WHO's headline, added in six weeks. The next DON is overdue.

🎯 So what: quote WHO's figure with its date, or quote the sitrep — stop passing the old number to agents as current. And if your Q4 plan assumes Washington downgrades Uganda from Level 4, it doesn't survive this curve: Uganda's outbreak ended 28 July, certified 26 August, and the US advisory hasn't moved since 4 June — 98 days.

3️⃣ KTB IS PAYING TATLER TO PUT ITS AFRICA OFFICE IN KENYA

Kenya Tourism Board has signed a three-year subvention agreement with Tatler Africa — bringing the inaugural Tatler Best of Africa event to Kenya and hosting Tatler's Africa office — inside a stated KSh 1 trillion tourism-GDP target (ATQ News, 9 Sep 2026). Some outlets carry an 8 October Nairobi date; unmatched to KTB or Tatler, so treat as unconfirmed.

🎯 So what: a national board is subsidising the platform that decides which African properties get luxury shelf space for three years. Top-end Nairobi, Laikipia and coast properties should ask KTB this week how shortlisting works — waiting to be discovered is not a strategy when the discovery mechanism is publicly funded and already signed.
