━━━━━━━━━
1️⃣ The US will require a signed no-DRC declaration from every passenger flying to America from 3 November, including from Nairobi, Entebbe and Kigali

CDC's Order, signed 22 Oct and published in the Federal Register on 27 Oct (91 FR 67582), bars airlines from boarding anyone to the US without a signed statement that they were not in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the previous 21 days. It applies from 11:59pm EST on 3 Nov, covers US connections, and airlines must keep the forms 42 days. The Order names no East African country. The text gives two end dates, 17 and 18 Dec (Federal Register, 27 Oct; CDC, undated page).
Our inference: this is a paperwork cost, not a ban, but it bites gorilla-trekking itineraries that cross into the DRC.
🎯 So what: tell US-bound guests and agents now, and add the form to check-in for departures after 3 Nov.

2️⃣ Uganda barred DRC-history travellers from transiting and reinstated locator forms after an Ebola case in Nigeria was traced to a Ugandan holiday
A Ugandan-born woman, wife of a Swiss diplomat in Abuja, was evacuated to Switzerland on 26 Oct. Officials say she spent two weeks in Uganda; Switzerland and Africa CDC say her papers show no Congo visit (Daily Monitor, 27 Oct). Uganda ordered locator forms for all arrivals and a transit ban on DRC-history travellers on 24 Oct, and its Health Minister said on 25 Oct that Uganda "remains Ebola-free" and the Nigerian case is under investigation (Uganda Media Centre, 25 Oct).
Our inference: if the probe finds local infection, Uganda's July all-clear is the next thing questioned.
🎯 So what: tell Entebbe-bound guests to expect the form. Hold refund terms until the probe reports.
🏷 City, Bush | Uganda | Confirmed | impact:risk

3️⃣ Kenya released its first 20 Ebola contacts on 26 Oct; 98 remain and leave from 3 November
The Ministry counts nine cases, two deaths and seven patients stable in treatment, and says the outbreak is "not yet contained". Travel, trade and gatherings stay unrestricted (Citizen Digital, 26 Oct). The 42-day clock starts only after the last patient clears two tests and is discharged.
🎯 So what: say "contacts released", never "cleared", in guest messages.
🏷 City, Bush, Beach | Kenya | Confirmed | impact:risk

🏗 DEAL FLOW: No verified EA deal flow in the window. Newest dated item is Mereshi Safari Camp Serengeti, Autograph Collection, planned for November (Hospitality Net, 12 Oct).
